Pálmi Sigurhjartarson released his new pianoalbum, In the Moment, on the 1. of May 2026.

In the occasion he hosted a concert at the Cathedral in Skálholt. The cathedral was fully seated and concert guest were delighted with the experience.

Pálmi performed pieces from the album, which features a blend of his own original compositions as well as well-known classic popsongs in his own piano arrangements.

Now, Pálmi is following up on the album with a second concert, this time at the Reykjavík Cathedral.

This is a unique experience where Pálmi is alone at the grand piano, shares stories behind the music and interprets it notefree in a close connection with the audience and the environment, creating the magic of the moment.
