About the choreographers

Beauty and the Beast is a choreographic duo, a fake band and a lifelong collaboration between the choreographers Apetrea/Ólafsdóttir. Their art is always about you and them and ALL the love in between. Together they have made the performances Beauty and the Beast (2011), DEAD (2017) and Sälkvinnorna (2023). The Selkie Poetry Reading (2025) as well as the documentary Hashtag Tour (2025) by Margrét Takyar.

The collaboration between Beauty and the Beast is always about friendship and they never work alone.
