Pepsi-League, Premier League, Champions League, Spanish League… but now it is time for THE LEAGUE/DEILDIN. DEILDIN is a league that contains only one team, one coach and an audience. DEILDIN is a dance piece in the form of a football game.

A part of the performing arts group “Atvinnumenn” began initial research and rehearsals on the work during their summer residency at Dansverkstæðið 2025. The goal is to make a 90 minute dance work, 45 minutes before intermission and 45 minutes after, but now they will showcase a 20 minute work in progress. Birta Ásmundsdóttir is the choreographer and coach of the dance piece.
