Harpa’s Family Program, in collaboration with the Reykjavik Chamber Music Society, offers a warm and engaging chamber music concert in Kaldalón, featuring talented young musicians performing a varied and accessible program.
The audience will also gain insight into the world of chamber music through brief introductions to the instruments, composers, and musical style – with the aim of deepening understanding and sparking interest among young listeners.
Selected movements from chamber works by Felix Mendelssohn, Dmitri Shostakovich, Antonín Dvořák, and Maurice Ravel are on the program.
