It’s been over a decade since múm last released a full-length album, and now they’re back with History of Silence, a beautifully strange and shimmering new chapter in their ever-curious sonic journey. The album, which will be released this September, is built across time zones, weather patterns, and seasons, drifting between analogue warmth and digital dust, with songs that shimmer quietly and linger long after they end. It’s múm at their finest: fragile but fearless, minimal but packed with feeling.

To mark the occasion, múm will bring their kaleidoscopic sound to Harpa for a rare and intimate live show, woven together with strings, synths, silence, and surprises. Join us for a night of gently dissolving melodies, warped lullabies, and moments that feel suspended in time. Trust us: it’s not just a concert, it’s an atmosphere.

The event is part of Iceland Airwaves 2025 as a special Partner Event. Iceland Airwaves ticket holders will receive priority and discounts; however, the concert is open to everyone who obtains a ticket.

Premium: 15,990 ISK (purple on the map)

Zone 1: 14,990 ISK (red on the map)

Zone 2: 12,990 ISK (blue on the map)

Zone 3: 9,990 ISK (green on the map)

Zone 4: 7,990 ISK (yellow on the map)

Zone 5: 5,990 ISK (pink on the map)

Please note that this event is not included in the Iceland Airwaves festival pass; however, as a festival ticket holder, you are eligible for a 10% discount. If you are an Iceland Airwaves Plus ticket holder, you can claim a 20% discount. Ticket holders also have access to exclusive pre-sales, for which these discounts will be valid. Iceland Airwaves ticket holders will receive an email with a link to the presale, including their discounted tickets, on the morning of the presale date. When you purchased your festival ticket or Plus Upgrade, a confirmation email and document were sent to you. You can also find the hidden link to your personal discount page there.
