Hymn improvisation for Lent

The Reykjavík Cathedral Choir and Sigurður Flosason Jazz Quartet perform hymns composed by Sigurður to lyrics by Aðalsteinn Ásberg Sigurðsson as well as other Icelandic poets. The concert includes a suite of hymns where the Quartet and Choir perform both jointly and alternately, presenting and echoing the hymnal melodies. New hymns will be premiered.
