Kristján Kristjánsson, better known as KK, has long been one of the most beloved musicians in Iceland. His music and lyrics are characterized by sincerity, humor, and warmth. KK made a powerful entrance into the Icelandic music scene with his album Bein leið, released in 1992, which included hits like Vegbúinn and Þjóðveg__ur 66, songs that remain deeply cherished by the nation's soul. KK's discography now exceeds 20 albums, including solo records, releases with the KK band, and collaborations with other musicians.
