Game Development Workshop
Want to make games but you’re not sure where to start or which game engine to learn about?
Join us for a workshop on the 15th and 16th of August, where we’ll go through the fundamentals of the Godot game engine, talk about game development workflows and the different aspects involved in making games.
We are CLIMB, a new movement in Iceland’s game development scene that wants to help people find a path into games, whether you care about code, art, design, story, audio, or something else entirely.
No prior game development experience required. Bring a laptop and we’ll work from there.
Schedule
We'll be at Vinnustofa Kjarvals, Austurstræti 10, 101 Reykjavík
August 15, 12:00 - 17:00 (Saturday)
August 16, 12:00 - 17:00 (Sunday)
Explore the Godot game engine and the many facets of game development, from lectures and hands-on projects to guest showcases and live Q&As with industry voices.
