At this concert, Trio JAM invites audiences to enjoy a diverse programme of classical music that reaches beyond traditional concert conventions, creating the warm, lively atmosphere of a café.

The programme features Astor Piazzolla's The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, where the expressive world of Argentine tango meets classical music and the freedom of improvisation. Also on the programme is Piano Trio No. 2 by German composer Florian Willeitner, a vibrant work that blends the traditional chamber music form with infectious rhythms, jazz, and contemporary influences.

The concert takes its title from Paul Schoenfield's Café Music, a lively and witty piece that captures the energy and charm of bustling street cafés. The trio will also perform well-known songs inspired by the seasons in their own original arrangements, alongside a piece by German composer Peter Ludwig, further enriching the concert's distinctive atmosphere.

Trio JAM was formed in 2023 after its members met while studying at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts in Germany. Since then, the ensemble has performed across Germany and France.

The ensemble is dedicated to bringing classical music closer to audiences by drawing on influences from jazz, tango, pop, and contemporary music. Through moderations, singing, and improvisation, Trio JAM creates performances that are both personal and engaging, inviting audiences to experience classical music in a fresh way.
