ANÚNA, Ireland’s National Choir, will perform in Iceland for the first time this September. Founded by Irish composer Michael McGlynn in 1987, the group creates a striking and immersive sound world, bringing together movement, light, distinctive vocal textures and a deeply mystical atmosphere. Over nearly four decades, that sound has reached audiences across the world. ANÚNA’s voices can be heard on major video-game soundtracks, including titles from the Diablo and Xenoblade franchises, and the group’s collaborations have ranged from Elvis Costello to Japanese Noh theatre.

This one-off concert will bring Icelandic audiences into the extraordinary sonic landscape of one of the world’s most distinctive and beautiful vocal ensembles.
