The World of Icelandic Music is a multimedia permanent exhibition. With a multilingual audio guide, the story comes to life through specially composed music, captivating visuals and interactive features – and, not least, musical excerpts spanning Iceland’s rich musical heritage.
Discover the roots of Icelandic music, meet the rebels of Icelandic rock ’n’ roll and explore the stories and influences behind Icelandic artists who have made their mark far beyond the island’s shores. You can even try your hand at conducting the Iceland Symphony Orchestra.
