Skíðaríma was written around 1440 and is among the oldest known 'rhymes', although the author is unknown. 'Rhymes' are long, rhythmic narrative poems that discuss gods, heroes, villains, and humans.

Skíðaríma is about Skiríma, a poor wanderer who stays with farmers and receives food and shoes from them. One night he falls asleep and dreams that he is invited to Valhalla. Skiríma wakes up the next morning, pale, toothless, and sick, and uncertainty remains about what really happened.

The age limit for this event is 20 years old.
