Silja Rós is an Icelandic singer, songwriter and multi-intrumentalist known for blending neo-soul with pop songwriting. Silja began her career in Reykjavík, performing live and honing her craft before studying jazz vocals at FÍH Music Academy. She later moved to Los Angeles and Copenhagen, where she collaborated with international songwriters and further developed her unique sound. Her debut album, Silence, earned significant radio play in Iceland, and her second album continued to build her fan base. Silja Rós was nominated as the best new artist at Bylgjan Listening Awards in 2023. All of her albums have been selected as “The album of the week” at Rás 2 radio station receiving amazing reviews.

Silja's third album, …letters from my past, showcases a mix of soulful melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and jazz-infused pop. With influences from Jacob Collier, Olivia Dean and Yebba, her sound is both introspective and captivating. The album received fantastic reviews in Iceland and internationally, praising Silja's unique voice that truly brings the listener to another world.

On April 30th Silja Rós invites her listeners to celebrate the one year anniversary of the album “...letters from my past” at Kaldalón Harpa. Silja Rós will perform the whole album along with new unreleased music with her full band. The concert will showcase visual arts from Alda Valentína Rós.

Support by Icelandic musician Brynja. Brynja blends heartfelt lyrics with a dreamy soundscape where pop, R&B and indie influences meet. In 2022 she released her debut album, Repeat, and has recently been working on new material while stepping into a new chapter of life as a mother. At the concert she will perform unreleased songs from her upcoming album.
