Sfera is a new music series dedicated to exploring the edges of sound and space, spotlighting the local experimental music scene in an immersive setting. Emerging as the next chapter after Chillsphere—a long-running event series in multiple venues around Reykjavík—Sfera strips away the “chill” and steps into deeper, more expansive sonic territory.

The first chapter of Sfera explores the drone music genre in depth, combined with immersive visuals, within the setting of Tjarnarbíó’s theatre hall.
