Sunday Classics: Love, love! - Tríó Sól & friends

Harpa

15 February

Love, love! Has anything inspired poetry and music more than love? It doesn't matter when or where, love is as present in 19th-century music as it is today. Romance plays a central role in this concert that includes old and new compositions inspired by letters, poems and photographs of love, nostalgia, longing, beauty to name a few.

The string trio Tríó Sól is joined by two good friends - singer Hanna Ágústa Olgeirsdóttir and cellist Þórdís Gerður Jónsdóttir - for their most friendly and romantic concert yet. Emma Garðarsdóttir and Sólrún Ylfa Ingimarsdóttir play violins, and Þórhildur Magnúsdóttir plays viola.
