Laufkvist
Laufkvist sings about life in flow with nature. It plays folk music that deals with the great forest, seasons, emotions and wonders. The project began in 2024 when Francis Laufkvist, the founder and namesake of the band, participated in Músíktilraunir. The following summer, the project became a band when it played at the grassroots music festival Hátíðni. Laufkvist's music has the ability to leave listeners with a nourished soul, a smile on their face and even teary eyes.
Francis Laufkvist Kristinsbur, Víf Ásdísar Svansbur, Rósa Sif Welding Kristinsdóttir and Silja Höllu Egilsdóttir make up the band Laufkvist.

The band grants themselves the freedom to explore whatever concepts, genres, or sounds that interest them at each moment. Their instruments of choice include dusty old laptops and esoteric software, though an odd instrument can find its way .
Vilhjálmur Yngvi Hjálmarsson, Guðmundur Ari Arnalds, Örlygur Steinar Arnalds and Sólrún Mjöll Kjartansdóttir make up the band glupsk.
