The Chamber Music Society was founded in 1957 and now presents its 69th season. A Season Pass can be purchased for ISK 20.000, whereas the individual ticket price for each concert is ISK 4.900. Please turn to Harpa's box office or click here.

At the last concert of the winter, the Siggi String Quartet will perform a magnificent and diverse repertoire with three guests on different instruments. Before the intermission, two works for wind instruments and strings will be performed, Mozart's Flute Quartet in D major with Emilia Rós Sigfúsdóttir and Benjamin Britten's Phantasy Quartet with Julia Hantschel, conductor of the oboe department of the Iceland Symphony Orchestra. A new work by Veronique Vaka will also be premiered. After an intermission, the Siggi String Quartet, along with pianist Mathias Susaas Halvorsen, will perform Brahms' magnificent masterpiece, Piano Quintet in F minor.
