Everything revolves around love – and with this project, musician Anna Kruse and actress Stina Ekblad present a heartfelt tribute to a sister across time/space and life/death: Edith Södergran.

Actress Stina Ekblad joins Anna in honoring the young poet Edith Södergran. Midsummer of 2023 marked 100 years since Edith departed this world. Together, Annaand Stina have created performances and concerts for years, celebrating Edith’s small yet profoundly rich work. Edith Södergran’s life was short (1892–1923), but she is considered one of the most important poets of Swedish modernism.

Swedish singer and composer Anna Kruse has been based in Copenhagen for many years, contributing to the Danish music scene since arriving as an exchange student at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in 1998.

Anna has created seven albums featuring Edith Södergran’s poetry. Her music draws inspiration from jazz, folk, and classical traditions, often leading to unique and inspiring collaborations.
