The quartet will play Ásgeir's original songs from his solo albums and his songs from albums he has made in collaboration with other artists. In 2006, Ásgeir's first solo album Passing through was released, which featured Chris Cheek and Matt Penman, among others, in 2015, the album Tríó was released, where numerous Icelandic artists appeared, and then songs from the Icelandic folk song trilogy will be played in new arrangements as well as songs from an album that Asgeir made in collaboration with the singer Rebekka Blöndal. Ásgeir intends to release another trilogy this year and will play new songs this evening mixed with songs from the previously mentioned albums. Ásgeir Ásgeirsson has been one of the most sought-after guitarists in the nation for the past 30 years, and many bands and collaborations with other artists have enjoyed great popularity as well as his solo albums.
