The Wellbeing Economy Forum in Reykjavik serves as an influential platform for dialogue and collaboration among politicians, business leaders, academics, and practitioners from around the globe. Its central focus is on integrating wellbeing into a sustainable economic system prioritising social and environmental health. The Forum encourages diverse perspectives to promote sustainable wellbeing for both people and the planet. Key topics will include aligning public budgets with wellbeing goals, developing alternative economic metrics, and strengthening the connections between health, prosperity, and environmental limits. Speakers will discuss how governments and institutions can reshape economies to support societal wellbeing, in alignment with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. The Forum will take place at Harpa, Reykjavik’s premier concert and conference hall, and is organized by the Directorate of Health in Iceland with support from the EU. In addition to sessions and discussions, the Forum will also offer activities designed to enhance participant wellbeing.

The first Wellbeing Economy Forum in Iceland was held in 2023.
