5 SHORT FILMS MADE IN 24 HOURS
Dægurflugur is a Norwegian-Icelandic collaborative project that involves bringing together diverse artists to create something in 24 hours. This is the second time the project is being held in Iceland.
This year, over 100 young artists will come together to create 5 short films in 24 hours, which will be screened at Bíó Paradís in a formal ceremony. The films are made from A to Z within these 24 hours, including scriptwriting, production, music, filming, and editing, making the project unique.
After the film screening, we will move to Kornhlaðan, where two bands will perform music created from scratch in 24 hours. The evening will conclude with a DJ set.
All participants and organisers work on a voluntary basis, and the aim of the project is to promote community spirit and collaboration within the cultural sector.
The Norwegian volunteer group Døgnfluer was established in 2014 and has since brought together people who share a passion for culture to create concerts, films, dance performances, theater productions, art, comedy, and musicals. All done within 24 hours.
