About
At this concert Ásgeir Ásgeirsson and his ensamble will play a repertoire of Icelandic folk songs from the three albums he released, where he traveled with Icelandic folk songs to Turkey, Bulgaria and Iran and recorded with some of the leading instrumentalists from those countries. The three albums; Two sides of Europe (2017), Traveling through cultures (2018) and Persian path (2020) have received excellent reviews both at home and abroad and have been played on various world-music radio stations around the world.
