This concert will feature Róshildur, Simmi, nuclear nathan.

Harpa, in collaboration with the Reykjavík Music City and Rás 2, is hosting Upprásin, a concert series dedicated to grassroots Icelandic music, across musical genres. Upprásin is now taking place for the fourth year in a row and a total of 27 bands will perform, three on each concert night.

Ticket prices are only 2000 kr. but it is possible to contribute a higher amount during the ticket sales process, which will go directly to the artists.

Róshildur weaves together live instrumentation, layered vocal arrangements, and synthesizers to create dreamy electronic pop filled with warmth and intimacy. Her Icelandic lyrics blend sincerity with subtle humor.

On her debut album, Samferða (Together Along the Way), released in May 2026, Róshildur reflects on the people who have accompanied her throughout her life. The album is a heartfelt tribute to her sisters and close female friends.

Nuclear Nathan is a rapper and producer who has been releasing music since 2020. Rooted in trap and hip-hop, his sound draws inspiration from artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Tyler, the Creator, and Pharrell Williams.Originally from Namibia, he moved to Iceland in 2021, where he has been building his music career alongside his studies.

Simmi / Simon Valentin is a Reykjavík based musician and cultural organiser. Since his arrival in Iceland he has been an energetic participant in Reykjavík´s local grassroots scene, organising concerts and festivals as part of the post-dreifing collective, as well as throwing fun small shows in his apartment. His music is defined by playful curiosity, childlike chaos, natural textures and cute noise. In his partly improvised live sets, he likes to create a space that the audience can explore, like a child explores a playground on a beautiful and sunny (and maybe even snowy) day.<
