A special one-off concert at Laugardalshöll, exclusively for Iceland, on Saturday, October 24!
Not many events make rock fans stop in their tracks. But when Queens of the Stone Age come to Iceland after a 25-year wait, expectations are high for a truly extraordinary show.
You could call this a long-awaited reunion between Icelandic rock fans and one of the most influential rock bands of the past decades. The band has long wanted to include Iceland on its touring schedule, but it never worked out. So they decided to go for it and make a special trip to Iceland. This is therefore a truly unique show, only for Iceland, and not part of a bigger tour.
QOTSA shine on the stage, are well known for their powerful shows, and have never been better. It is safe to say that we have an unforgettable evening coming up.
Reykjavík-based Virgin Orchestra, who have been making waves both in Iceland and abroad in recent years, will open the show.
Don’t miss this special concert done especially for Iceland, with Queens of the Stone Age in Laugardalshöll!

About Queens of the Stone Age
Queens of the Stone Age consists of Joshua Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita and drummer Jon Theodore. Over an impressive 30-year career, the band has established itself as one of rock music’s most powerful and original voices. Their music comes alive on stage, where they are renowned for giving everything they have at every performance, and they have arguably never been better. As NME recently wrote in its review of the Catacombs Tour, they are currently “...reaching new heights!”
QOTSA specifically requested the opportunity to perform in Iceland, bringing tremendous energy and the very best songs from across their entire catalogue. An unforgettable evening awaits!
About Virgin Orchestra
Drawing inspiration from post-punk, electronic music, dream pop and noise rock, Virgin Orchestra weaves these influences into a powerful and captivating sound. The band consists of Rún, Starri and Stefanía, and has been on a remarkable rise in recent years, both in Iceland and internationally, following the release of Fragments in 2023 and the EP Let It Burn in 2025.
They were handpicked by QOTSA to open the show.
