Lindy Lin

Lindy Lin (Lidong Lin) is an electroacoustic composer and audiovisual experimentalist based in Reykjavík. Blending cultural heritage with personal mediums, she creates immersive, tactile experiences using natural soundscapes, everyday objects. Her surreal, psychedelic compositions challenge societal imbalances related to identity and equality. After releasing her debut album Her Insula in Shanghai, she moved to Iceland in 2023 to pursue a Master’s in NAIP at the Iceland University of the Arts. Lindy has since been active in Reykjavík’s art scene—co-founding the noise rock band Yang Soup with Diego, Stirnir, and Vigfús, performing in Wet Flute Trio with Stirnir and Tumi, and collaborating with artists like Örlygur and Masaya. Her ongoing project Mirror Stage explores "her" topics with local female artists including Sóley Stefánsdóttir, Berglind, Sillus, Karólína, Ronja, and Ida.

Splitting Tongues

Splitting Tongues plays a combination of grindcore, hardcore and goregrind. The band was formed in March 2024 with the goal of playing fast and intense music. Splitting Tongues are Arnar Már Víðisson, Sindri Þór Atlason and Sigurður Már Gestsson.

Gargan

Gargan creates a diverse world of sounds; clarinet textures, ambient sounds, recordings of broken appliances and classic household items, synthesizers and voices. They invite listeners on a journey through different sound worlds and explore the full range of emotions. In a live performance, a clarinetist gurgles through his instrument and we hear electronic noises and noises of all shapes and sizes. The music is both raw and deep, structured but uncontrolled at the same time. Gargan are Bergþóra Kristbergsdóttir and Hulda Ragnhildur Hjálmarsdóttir.
