Cozy Candlelit Christmas
Songstresses Ösp Eldjárn (Ösp, Hrím, Blood Harmony) and María Magnúsdóttir (MIMRA, Early late twenties) perform in the gorgeous old Iðnó on December 8th along with their band. The concert is named Kertaljós og klæðin rauð, which translates to candlelight and red clothing. The band will play a selection of favourite old Icelandic jule songs in their own jazzy, heartwarmingly cozy versions. If you'd like to experience Christmas songs in Icelandic, old and new, in one of the most historic buildings downtown Reykjavík, this concert is for you. The band of the evening consists of singers María and Ösp along with guitarist Andrés Þór Gunnlaugsson, bassist Birgir Steinn Theodorsson and drummer Erik Qvick.
