It significantly contributes to creating the world in which the game takes place, shaping the game's atmosphere and progression—and the emotional state of the player simultaneously. Concerts where symphony orchestras play well-known and popular music from video games have gained immense popularity worldwide in recent years and many video game enthusiasts have eagerly anticipated the Iceland Symphony Orchestra following suit.

At this video games concert by the Iceland Symphony, under the direction of Eímear Noone, the orchestra will take us on a grand journey through distant futures, intricate labyrinths, magical realms and disastrous worlds through the magnificent music from video games such as Kingdom Hearts, The Last of Us, Fortnite, Civilization VI, Sea of Thieves, Resident Evil V, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Hades, Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II, Fallout IV and Starfield. Additionally, the impactful music from the Icelandic video game Eve Online will also be featured.
