The first Wellbeing Economy Forum will take place on 14-15 June in Reykjavik, Iceland. The forum will take at Harpa, Reykjavik´s spectacular conference and concert hall located by the harbour, downtown Reykjavik.

The forum will be a platform to present and discuss the wellbeing economy approach. It is a unique opportunity for politicians, policy makers, experts, scholars and practitioners from all over the world to meet and discuss challenges and opportunities within the field of wellbeing economy and how we can develop it further.  

In order to create sustainable wellbeing for all, we need to work together between sectors, in line with the UN´s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Therefore we aim at creating a forum which will connect people with different background with the shared goal of creating a sustainable wellbeing.

It is our hope that this forum will allow participants to make new connections and develop stronger networks in order to create a sustainable wellbeing for people and the planet.

Speakers at this Wellbeing Economy Forum will be politicians as well as experts in the field, there will be representatives from the WEGo alliance, WHO, OECD and more.

There will also be three workshops for participants:

WBE at the local level, practical lunch date
Opportunity to meet colleagues in an informal setting and discuss in semi structured way current achievements and future aspirations.

In this workshop professor Ilona Boniwell will introduce practical tools for sustainable wellbeing for businesses and workplaces.

Workshop – Happier, Kinder, Together - Sustainable Wellbeing in Communities – from the Ground Up
In this workshop Vanessa King will share Action for Happiness’ movement building approach to community wellbeing.
