Honouring the centennial of Jakobína Sigurðardóttir writer and lyricist, this concert celebrates the premier of a song-book with 9 new songs written to accompany Jakobina's poems. Ingibjörg Azima Guðlaugsdóttir is the composer. Four of these compositions appeared on the cd Vorljóð in fall of 2015, but four of them are premiered at this concert. The music is arranged for two voices and piano, but can be performed in a solo voice.
