A five day music festival for the whole family in one of the northmost towns in Iceland. The main focus is on Icelandic and Scandinavian folk music as well as world music and folk dances. 19 concerts are held in different locations in the charming town of Siglufjörður. During the festival, workshops on music and old handcraft, and lectures on both Icelandic and foreign topics are held. The relaxed atmosphere in the historic village amongst beautiful mountain landscape is an experience not to be missed.

Alongside the concert schedule a Folk Music Acedemy, a international course on folk music will be operated.
