Why I Stuck A Flare Up My Arse For England is a bold, light-hearted, and deep exploration of

identity, belonging, and the lengths we are prepared to go to for love, acceptance, and a sense of

purpose. Set against the backdrop of football fandom and English culture, this show takes the

audience on a riotous journey through Billy’s life, as he recounts the absurd yet poignant events that

led him to the infamous moment of sticking a lit flare up his arse in a wild act of loyalty and

rebellion.
