Back for their third season in Þjóðleikhúskjallarinn, artist-activist collective R.E.C Arts Reykjavík presents House of Revolution: an inclusive variety show/ "performance party" showcasing the vibrant and diverse communities of professional artists living in Iceland.
Experience one-of-a-kind performances, including live music, stand-up comedy, drag, slam poetry, dance, burlesque, storytelling and more; all performed and curated by artists of minority backgrounds and communities.
No show is the same, but each show will touch your hearts and minds, instilling a community where everyone matters. Shows are primarily in English, with other languages spoken as well.
All shows are interpreted in Icelandic Sign Language, and with accessibility for all, and every show ends with a dance party!
House of Revolution has been a great success and was nominated for a Gríman Award in 2024.
Tickets are on a sliding scale for financial accessibility. (We offer “pay what you can” tickets at the door)
