Myndin byggir á albanskri skáldsögu, sem gerist á tímum Sovétríkjanna á áttunda áratugnum. Hún segir frá hetjudáðum embættismannsins Zylo sem starfar í Menntamálaráðuneytinu. Til að heilla yfirmenn sína fær Zylo upprennandi rithöfund að nafni Demka til að skrifa fyrir sig stórkostlegar ræður og skýrslur. Allt saman byggt á lygilegum kenningum Zylo.

Based on an Albanian novel, the premise is The Soviet Union regime during the 70’s and focuses on the exploits of Comrade Zylo, a bureaucrat at The Ministry of Culture. In an attempt to impress his superiors and party members, Comrade Zylo manipulates Demka, an inspiring, frustrated writer to write on his behalf brilliant speeches and reports based on Zylo’s improbable theories of what is Proletariat Culture.
