Hausar present: Alix Perez

Belgian born Alix Depauw is the face behind production moniker Alix Perez and collaborative duo SHADES (w/ Eprom). Alix released his debut album "1984" to critical acclaim in 2009 which is still talked about now as one of the most accomplished Drum and Bass albums of all time. Since then he has released a sophomore LP, multiple EP’s, launched a record label (1985 Music) and has collaborated with the foremost names in dance and electronic music including; Noisia, Ivy Lab, Foreign Beggars, Icicle, MachineDrum and many more. Following the release of his 2nd album Chroma Chords in 2013, Alix delivered a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, which was shortlisted for essential mix of the year.

Hausar are the leading drum & bass collective in Iceland founded by Bjarni Ben, Croax and Nightshock. Hausar started streaming private house parties in 2012 that evolved into club nights at legendary venues like Faktorý, Dolly, Paloma, Bravo and Húrra. Long time Icelandic drum & bass veteran Untitled joined later. Hausar play everything from liquid rollers to banging neurofunk covering the whole spectrum of drum & bass.
