SEIÐR hefur verið starfandi frá því í maí 2019 og setti upp sína fyrstu sýningu á Reykjavík Fringe Festival í júlí sama ár. Hópurinn hefur tekið breytingum frá upphafi og nú eru flestir meðlimirnir með súludans sem aðalgrein en hafa auk þess reynslu á öðrum loftfimleika tækjum, ásamt acro, parkour og burlesque.
Nú er komið að næstu sýningu SEIÐS á Fringe. Sýningin ber nafnið ORIGINS (RÆTUR) og kemur innblásturinn af rótum og uppruna meðlima. Þema sýningarinnar er dregið af þeim sögum sem við heyrðum sem börn allt frá norrænni goðafræði, fornum flökkusögum og til sagna af tröllum og huldufólki.

Ath. þar sem sum atriðanna gætu talist kynþokkafull (e. sensual) er hún því hugsuð fyrir einstaklinga 18 ára og eldri.

Note: In addition to this ticket, all festival guests must have a RVK Fringe wristband, which are always available for 1000 ISK online or at the door. The wristband is valid throughout the festival and offers various discounts.

 SEIÐR has been operating since May 2019 and held its first showcase at Reykjavík Fringe Festival in July of the same year. The group has gone through some changes since its inception and now most of our members have pole dancing as their main focus, but also have experience in other aerial techniques, including acro, parkour, and burlesque.

Now comes SEIÐRs next show at Fringe. The showcase bears the name ORIGINS (RÆTUR) and inspiration is drawn from the roots and origins of our members. The theme of the showcase is taken from those stories that we all heard as children, everything from Norse mythology and ancient legends to tales of trolls and the hidden folk.

 Please be aware that some acts may be considered of a sensual nature, so the show is intended for audiences aged 18 and up.
