THE NORDIC COUNCIL IS BACK IN TOWN

Winners of the Nordic Fringe Network Award and the Grapevine's Fringe Award, 2021.

What does hard work, black coffee, woollen sweaters and IKEA all have in common? They are all part of our everyday life in the North, and they are all part of this contemporary circus show. Three circus artists from Finland, Sweden and Iceland share the stage to explore, reflect and celebrate their northernness. Using live music, juggling, comedy and aerial acrobatics, the artists bring the audience a show as awkward as it is unforgettable.

The Nordic Council is a circus trio created by Bjarni Árnason (ISL), Jakob Jacobsson (SWE) and Merri Heikkilä (FIN). These -'Three Men From The North' met while studying together in Codarts Rotterdam (NL). They found a spark to create together and discover similarities from their upbringing.

They have played Three Men From The North in festivals, and theaters in Denmark, Holland, Germany, Latvia, Italy, Sweden, the UK, and are making a comeback to Iceland.

Three Men from the North is suitable for all ages.

The show is roughly one hour without intermission.
