American violist Rita Porfiris will give a Masterclass in Norðurjós, Harpa. She has performed in major concert halls and music festivals worldwide as a chamber musician, orchestral musician, and as a soloist. She finished her bachelor’s and Master’s degree in music at the Conservatory Juilliard in New York.

In this masterclass, Rita will work with viola students, who will perform solo pieces and receive feedback in front of the audience.
