Néfur
Néfur composes and performs eco-somatic experimental music with her voice and body in combination with field recordings from threatened environments. Her music, performances and workshops interweave themes of environmental awareness, sensuous connection with nature and erotic empowerment. She composes for dance-theatre, video art and performance. She regularly collaborates with other musicians on improvisation-based concerts across Europe. She recently presented collaborative work in the experimental music festivals CTM (Berlin) and Sonar (Barcelona). Shortlisted in final 4 at BBC Sound Awards 2021 for her recording of Solhéimajökull, in 2025 she is releasing her album composed entirely with sounds of glaciers and voice: The Water, The Lover; a mythological journey into embodiment, deep feeling, and the power of the erotic in nature and in oneself.
Laglegt
Laglegt is the stage name of Sigríður Langdal. Laglegt first gained attention when she shared voice memos of songs she had been writing, on Soundcloud. Laglegt’s lyrics draw on emotions such as heartbreak and societal barriers. She then sets the sad lyrics to lively melodies and steps onto the stage with a guitar in hand.
Straff
Straff is a brand new solo project from Björgúlfur Jes, singer and songwriter in the Icelandic rock band Spacestation. Straff was formed in January 2024 and the first song, “Alltof mikið, stundum” was released at the end of April 2025. The music can be described as electronic synth-rock with a very punk twist. There is a lot of emphasis on strange drum and synth soups that intertwine and are driven by simple and rhythmic kraut drum beats and catchy bass lines.
