--

Halla Þórlaug Óskarsdóttir, Elías Knörr, Eva Rún Snorradóttir, Sunna Dís Másdóttir and Einar Lövdahl are writers in residence at Gröndalshús, Reykjavík's creative workspace for writers and others who work with written language and text.

Gröndalshús has played an important role throughout history as a platform for innovation in literature and poetry, and at this event, guests will have the opportunity to hear how the different voices and approaches of each poet are shaped in such an environment.

Each author steps forward with their own unique vision and style, and together they create a multi-layered and vibrant picture of what is happening in contemporary poetry in Iceland today.

The event is in collarboration with Harpa and part of the Reykjavík UNESCO City of Literature program during Reykjavík Culture Night, where words, voices and spaces meet in the heart of the city.
