Reykjavik Big Band, in collaboration with Harpa hosts a swing dance for children and their families, Saturday 23 August. The Big Band takes guests on a pulsating musical journey, and dancers will teach simple dance steps.
Eiríkur Rafn Stefánsson conducts the band and Bragi Árnason, an actor and dancer, leads the dance lessons. Dancers from the University Dance, Lindy Hop, Lindy Ravers and the Swing Station participate in the dance.
Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
The dance starts at 14:30 and lasts around 40 minutes. It takes place in Silfurberg Hall on 2nd floor.
