Men & Chicken is a darkly hilarious slapstick comedy directed by acclaimed Oscar winning director Anders Thomas Jensen. The film is about a pair of oddball brothers who discover they are not real brothers. They embark on a journey searching for their real father. On their way, they stumble upon a group of strange people that happen to have a lot in common with the brothers.

Mads Mikkelsen

The Danish actor Mads Dittman Mikkelsen became a household name after his portrayal of villain Le Chiffre in the James Bond film Casino Royal in 2006. By then he was already known in Europe for his acting skills.

Mads Mikkelsen was born in Østerbro in Copenhagen on October 22, 1965. He started acting late in life, he studied gymnastics and attended a ballet school in Göteborg in Sweden, and worked as a professional dancer for almost a decade before turning to acting. His breakthrough performance was in the Danish crime-thriller Pusher (1996) when he was 30 years old. The film became popular throughout Europe and made the charming actor famous.

Mikkelsen’s roles include playing Igor Stravinsky in the French film Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky (2009) and Lukas in the Danish film The Hunt (2012) by Thomas Vinterberg. For his work on The Hunt he was awarded Best Actor in a Main Role at the Cannes Film Festival. He has been universally praised for his portrayal of Hannibal Lecter in the NBC series Hannibal.
