A true story about a Finnish artist Touko Laaksonen’s journey to international success. Touko started to draw muscular, free, proud and uninhibited gay men and signed his works with the name ’Tom of Finland.’ His drawings became widely popular and fanned the flames of the gay movement. The movie won the FIPRESCI prize in Gothenburg and has been selected as Finland’s official Oscar entry for Best Foreign Language Film.
