Through Craigslist, an internationally active internet network, director and performance artist Samira Elagoz arranges one-to-one first encounters with a wide variety of men in three cities. The set-up is simple: she brings a camera, and films how they get to know each other. Every encounter is real and unscripted. Elagoz weaves her own presence in and out and becomes part of the narrative. Instead of making a film, she enters one and shares something oddly real with the people she meets.

Craigslist Allstars was nominated in the main competition at CPH: DOX 2017 and in the QueerArt competition at QueerLisboa. VICE has listed Craigslist Allstars as one of their 5 favourite films by female directors presented at International Documentary Filmfestival Amsterdam in 2016.
