Can Cities Be Sustainable?
Nordic seminar series
Nordic House Reykjavík / May 23, 2016 

Every year the international environment organization, WorldWatch Institute (http://www.worldwatch.org/), publishes its State of the World Report with thorough analysis of pressing environmental challenges. To discuss this year´s theme, Can A City Be Sustainable, WorldWatch Institute has initiated a seminar series in Nordic capitals in May. The fourth and last seminar in the series will be held at the Nordic House in Reykjavík on May 23rd, 14:00-16:45. 
The seminar is a collaboration between the Nordic Council of Ministers, WorldWatch Institute Euorope, Nordic House Reykjavík and the City of Reykjavík. The seminar will study both broader trends and examples of smart green solutions within the fields of architecture, construction, city planning and transportation in Europe, the Nordics and in Iceland.
