remind me, nature, the nature within me

The work is inspired by the acclaimed exhibition Flóð by Jónsi, shown at Hafnarhúsið last year. It is shaped around the human experience of the forces of nature, our connection to nature, to one another, and to the powers that dwell within us.

The absurdity and beauty of fragile humanity, forever entangled both with and within itself. In the eternal search for meaning, it is often forgotten that the surging tide of the restless oceans rises and falls within the human breast.

Flood Debris is an all-encompassing experience that plays on every sense.
