Around 50 students from 7 countries are participating in the courses at the Harpa International Music Academy from August 1-15. In the Rising Stars Concert Series students aged 13-25 perform solo and chamber works which they have prepared under the guidance of high quality international faculty from from the USA, Denmark and Iceland.

On August 15 at 12 noon students of piano and wind instruments will perform solo and chamber music pieces which they have prepared at the courses at the HIMA Festival, and at 4:30 PM the same day participants from the Junior Division will perform.

The Rising Stars Concert Series will take place both in Norðurljós and Flói:
