The Golden age of Swing
The Reykjavik Big Band’s annual and very popular swingin’ New Year’s concert, paying tribute to the Swing era; 1930-1950. Music from the bands of Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Cab Calloway, Tommy Dorsey, Gene Krupa, Duke Ellington, Artie Shaw, Count Basie etc. Outstanding guest singers visit.  All original arrangements and every effort made to make the music sound authentic.
