She is now pursuing a master's degree at The Juilliard School and received her bachelor’s degree in 2017 at Northwestern University. In 2013 she made her debut with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra and graduated with a soloist diploma from the Reykjavík College of Music. That same year she was among the Academy’s first participants.

Jane Ade Sutarjo, who was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, moved to Iceland in 2008 and continued her music studies at the Iceland Academy of the Arts. In 2011 she performed as a soloist with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra and a year later she won the first prize in the fifth EPTA Iceland piano competition. Jane Ade received her master’s degree in 2017 from the Norwegian Academy of Music.
