The concert of The Simon & Garfunkel Revival Band is cancelled.
Due to unforeseen circumstances the organiser Wigt International and the band had to cancel the concert, planned on 10th May 2019 in Eldborg.
We would like to thank everybody who expressed their interest in the band and this concert. We are very sorry for the inconveniences it may have caused.
The band hopes to come back in the nearby future.
Our sincere apologies for the inconveniences by the cancellation of this concert.

Information regarding refunds of tickets
Ticket holders who paid for their ticket using a credit card will receive an automatic refund within the next days. No action is necessary on their behalf.
Ticket holders who paid for their ticket using the apps Aur and Kass, debit card or a gift card are asked to contact Harpa ticket office.

For the first time in Iceland, a very special homage to Simon & Garfunkel performed by Simon & Garfunkel Revival Band accompanied by their strings quartet.

Very few music artists enjoy such a good reputation as the Simon & Garfunkel Revival Band. Wherever they perform, these very likeable full-blooded musicians make a lasting and impeccable impression on the audiences and receive unbelievable reviews.

They will pay tribute to original duo’s 60 years’ history, as far as of to 1957. They will perform the cult duo’s most beautiful songs of these last 60 years. You will hear wonderful and passionate ballads like “Scarborough Fair” or “Bright Eyes” and classics like “Mrs. Robinson”, “Bridge Over Troubled Water”, “El Condor Pasa”, “The Boxer”, the whipping “Cecilia” and their breakthrough hit: “The Sound of Silence” supported with subtle violin strings.  

It’s not enough to just play the songs! To evoke the true feeling for the music and many small musical refinements, you need first-class musicians. The band, consisting of Michael Frank (vocals and guitar) Guido Reuter (vocals, violin and piano) and three supporting musicians, is so successful in achieving the delicate balance between the perfect cover and individual interpretation of the original duo. The audience will be truly captivated by the rhythmical and emotional songs that bring back great memories.

The boundaries between the original and the copy vanish in their vocal and instrumental performances. These performances are carefully orchestrated to perfection. The voice types alone are so close to the originals and unbeatable in authenticity. The musicians’ instrumental skills are just as impressive as their stage presence. The result is a perfect show without the need for any great showy effects.
