Chrissie Thelma Guðmundsdóttir and Einar Bjartur Egilsson met during their studies at the Icelandic Art Academy. They have been playing together regularly since moving home from studies in different continents. This time they will perform new music from various directions including beautiful pieces by Arvo Pärt and the russian Prokofiev (Stravinsky). There will be a premiere of one piece by the pianist Einar Bjartur and in addition an Icelandic premiere of pieces by the Mexican composer Samuel Maynez Prince. Those are nice works with a bit of "latin swing" that Chrissie's colleague in Arizona gave her recently.
